Biotic Application Formats (READ ME)

As we plan to lump the different Biotic whitelists into a single faction, you have two formats you may use to apply. On for Stalker and Cremator characters as well as one specifically for Enslaved Vortigaunts.

Stalker and Cremator format

For the sake of clarity, Stalkers may not talk, though Cremators may talk using pre-recorded words and phrases. Cremators have no opinions and simply state whether their objective has been completed, if they have lost contact with their escorts, and other situational statements. Neither Cremators or Stalkers can be freed and their actions are essentially programmed in. Stalkers work on terminals and sometimes do welding for Torch on request while Cremators burn bodies and sensitive items that are either too heavy to move or deemed to risky to move for fear of the item being shown.

Example of Vortigaunt speech: (This is not their language, but rather how they phrase sentences, use certain word types, and different sentence structures)

As an Enslaved Vortigaunt, can you escape while you're the only player on the server?:

Vortigaunt's backstory:

Due to the high difficulty of the application process for Vortigaunts, only Nathan and I may post on them unless we give express permission to another user. Escaping cannot be done without a planned event or masterful roleplay. Escaping through OOC means/without RP will result in loss of the whitelist and your character.

• For any of these whitelists, you start out as property to the Union. As a cremator or stalker, you literally only have the urge to obey. You can give faint acknowledgements of understanding at times, but for the most part you just go do what you're told. As a Vortigaunt, you and your people have essentially been enslaved for many generations, if not by the races of Xen then by the Combine or other forces. You know freedom and you know the risks that are present for attempting to achieve it, but you are also not too stupid to try and escape by yourself.
  
  
• Escape attempts must be mini-events or through masterful roleplay on your part. A unit just taking you to the lobby to release you won't work as cameras would prevent this much in the same way that abusing button in the nexus won't work because you would be ICly punished immediately. Remember, you're always being watch while in the Nexus so doing something stupid is dangerous and foolhardy.
  
  
• As a mindless biotic, you may wander the Nexus semi-freely, but always remember you area limits OOCly. As a Cremator, you spawn in OTA stasis and that's the only place you can go. As a Stalker, you can't go to the ground floor of the Hub, but you can go almost anywhere else on or above the floor you spawn in at. Attempts to lock the city down ICly as either a stalker or vortigaunt will result in an IC pk and a whitelist removal.
