Sara Pfeiffer's Backstory
Nugget wanted me to post a backstory for my primary (and only active) character, Sara Pfeiffer, and said that this was the best place to post it. (Here or the Baltic, he said actually, but I dont think it fits there because it's not IC knowledge for anyone.)
Critical Analysis is appreciated.

- Sara Pfeiffer's Backstory:
- Tuesday the Fifteenth of February, in the year 1996, Sasha and Gretchen Pfeiffer, a young German couple - he 19 and she 18 - brought new life into this world, their first and only child, Sara. She was delivered almost a month early and was severely underweight, but came to be a healthy infant after a relatively short stay at the hospital.
Her family traveled often - her mother a photographer and her father officially unemployed but a de facto smuggler of illicit drugs - and in her early years she saw much of the world, though she would have been too early to remember. Her father was caught and jailed in the United kingdom for a short period starting in April of 2000, but the stay was not destined to be long. He was never found by his daughter after the War, though one could not truly say she ever tried - and for all she knows he could be dead.
To detail Sara's adolescence would be to account of little but working and learning under the Union, and for most of her life she came to view the Union as an undoubtable force for goodness and order. When she was 18, she joined the Union's Finest - the Metropolitan Police Force. It was, oddly enough, here where she first found that all was not right in the Union. Between a bad run in her early career involving an inordinate amount of amputations, to the cynicism of the 02 who took her under her wing and trained the young Recruit, Sara came to realize that the Union's philosophies may have been well, but they were ultimately making people unhappy. When it was discovered - only six months into Sara's career - that the unit who trained her was smuggling drugs - mostly paracetamol - and extra food to citizens, she was amputated and many of her acquaintances within the MPF were scattered across the Earth.
Sara spent the next five years in frost-blasted City 07, located in Former Canada, once called Toronto. The winters were harsh but helped to harden her resolve, and much of her time spent here was done in solitude. She worked, returned home, and rested for the next day's work - a joyless existence. Eventually, after it was deemed that C07 was underpopulated, and that their Police Force was too large to be put effectively to use, many were transferred, and Sara was taken to City 26 - ironically enough, located in Sara's home country of Germany. Here she met a likeminded MPF Medic - Unit 1993 - and this is where she resides to this day, helping people where she can, hoping one day to be free.
